I see many friends uploading their “Year in Review” posts and I’m finally sitting down to write it myself. Looking back, 2011 was a busy year for me. I am not sure if it’s neccesarily a bad thing though. I’m just re-reading my posts from this year and reflecting. Here are some of the big moments [...]

Already, I’ve been back from LA for well over a week. I attended BlogWorld and New Media Expo LA (BWELA) 2011 from Nov 3-5. I had attended Blog World last year in Las Vegas, and although I made many new friends, I personally felt like I’ve “been there, done that.” It was fun, but not necessary to [...]

We have uploaded the video few weeks ago, but the YouTube show my friend Russel and I are doing has turned 1! Thank you so much for your support. I think Russel and I met at Spring 2010 Twestival. I called on his Twitter profile pic being too scary and then we totally hit it [...]

I just read Amber‘s latest blog post and had to write it myself. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend you go read it here first. I met Amber last month at Social Media Camp. I’ve written about my experience at SMCV11 here, but there was definitely something about her that I really liked. When [...]

I was again involved with Social Media Camp(SMCV) 2011 as Speaker Coordinator. Last year was the first annual SMCV. Last year, I organized “Lunch with the Social Media Rock Stars” component etc, but my role this year was focused solely on communicating with the speakers and our accommodation and transportation sponsors. I’d like to thank [...]

I was pleasantly surprised to get many great comments on my last post. I found it interesting few people commented on fear. If you are not willing to make the change, a lot of times it is because you are afraid. As discussed in the Brene Brown’s video I posted on my Resolution post, I [...]

It’s been about a week since I came back from BlogWorld(#BWE10) in Las Vegas and I realize I have not written anything about it. Many people I saw after I got back have asked “So, how was Vegas? Tell me all about it!” And all I did was shrug and say “Well, it was huge. [...]

So last few weeks have been a bit crazy. There was Uvic LipDub- it was an absolutely amazing experience. I was there with my son around 7am, and we lip-synced out hearts out, lots of waiting around (but we knew that), I stayed until 3pm and was absolutely exhausted…but all I did was just waiting [...]

We did one extra episode of “Getting Engaged- Online, In Life and At Work” with Doug Brown. Here, we talk about Personal VS Corporate Brand, an age-old question of whether you should tweet as yourself, or as your business/brand. We bring up Air Canada as an example. Have a look, and let me know what [...]
